We have been slowly moving away from automated ad serving (like Google AdSense) because they mostly serve crap.

Instead we are trying to provide ads from people that need the exposure. To do this we’re providing advertising opportunities for prices far less than other songwriting sites that sell ads for the same amount of exposure.

Our newsletter goes out to about 2500 subscribers every month. Your advertisement will include a title, 2-3 sentences, and a link to your website or web page.

Product or Service Review

This is basically a “sponsored post”. An article dedicated to an in-depth review of your product.

We have reviewed digital voice recorders, recording software, songwriting books, microphones, websites, and a plethora of musical instruments. We love doing reviews.

The review will occupy space on the homepage of Blogging Muses for a minimum of one month (sometimes more depending on our editorial calendar), and will have a permanent review page in our archives, searchable through our site and all major search engines.

Cost: $250

Keep the following in mind regarding product reviews:

• The review will be published within three weeks of payment to allow full review time. Perhaps longer if an item must be shipped for review, but this will be discussed on an as-needed basis. We try to be thorough.
• If 3 weeks is too long, and you need an “express review” contact us here for availability and rates.
• If your product was comped to Blogging Muses for a review we will disclose that to our readers.

At the bottom of each article there is an ad. Currently (Jan – April 2012) this is being used to promote the new Blogging Muses eBook. In the past this spot has been sold to authors pitching their latest book, new bands, songwriting contests, and recording studios.
