Open Jam: What other songwriting blogs are talking about

By Don • Feb 11th, 2007 • Category: Songwriting News

John over at Songwriting Apples is getting an education on harmonicas and contemplates using them for his next song.

Jason releases his latest Songpull song called ‘You Can’t Sleep’ on his personal blog Songfruit.

Jeff talks about coming up with a story BEFORE writing the song, which is one of my personal favorite ways to write. He also looks back at his recent live performance and blogs some mental notes on what worked and what didn’t.

Jackson Kelly tackles the age old problem of coming up with a great first vs and chorus and then drawing a blank for the second verse. I also took a stab at this same problem a while back and posted something about it under songwriting tips.

Found anything cool in the online songwriting universe?
