Songwriting Newsletter
By Don • Sep 28th, 2006 • Category: Site NewsA couple of weeks ago I quietly added a newsletter subscription box on the right hand side of this page. Several readers have asked if I would provide a newsletter to let them know when new articles are posted on the site because they aren’t really RSS people. Others wanted more specifics on just how much correspondence they would get from Blogging Muses.
Since we put out articles and posts on a daily basis, I don’t think people would like getting a songwriting newsletter with updates EVERY DAY.
Instead, this songwriting newsletter will be monthly. One email every month. I think this is to the benefit of everyone. Everybody’s inbox is already stuffed with enough crap as it is, right?
As far as specifics, the general format of the MONTHLY EMAIL NEWSLETTER will be as follows:
- Editorial comments by a Blogging Muses author. (probably me mostly)
- List of all articles and posts for the month.
- Songwriting contest information.
- Any Blogging Muses giveaways - and accompanying information.
We will not:
- Reuse your email for other crap - ever. We hate spam just as much as the next person.
- Sell your email address to advertisers - never. That is evil.
- Send naked webcam pics of ourselves to you. That is just tasteless, and quite frankly, very disturbing first thing in the morning over a cup of coffee.
If you have any newsletter suggestions, or would like to contribute an article for inclusion on the site (and newsletter), we’d love to hear about it.
