Pop Songwriting Competition
By Don • Sep 16th, 2006 • Category: Songwriting Contests
Kevin Federline wannabes take note - Broadjam is hosting a Pop Song Contest.
According to the site:
By “popular” demand, Broadjam wants to hear your best “Pop” song on Broadjam .com. Whether it’s slow heartfelt ballad or a fast paced dance track, your Pop song has a chance of landing $250.00 popular dollars! Plus win popularity and exposure by your winning song being featured on Broadjam .com.
While it appears you have to be a Broadjam .com member, it looks like just submitting a song nets you a free 6-month subscription.
Submissions to the contest opened on September 7th and run through October 9th.
In general it looks like Broadjam .com is really taking the songwriting contest thing by the horns. I count no less than 6 contests running right now on their site. I’d be interested to hear what people’s success has been with these songwriting contests.
K-Fed are you listening?
UPDATE: Here is a Broadjam page with all their contests listed in one place. (Link)
