We’re looking for people to review songwriting books.

By Don • Aug 6th, 2006 • Category: Our Bloggers, Site News, Songwriting Books/DVDs

(Editor’s Note: At this time we are only asking for reviewers in the continental United States. Sorry!)

As the traffic and general knowledge of the existence of BloggingMuses grows, we are receiving more and more books from publishers with the request to review the book and publish our review online.

At this moment we don’t have time to read more books and write reviews on them. But it seems a shame to let these superb (and expensive) books go to waste!

Here is what we can offer you for your 500-750 word review:

Free book. The book you review is yours to keep. If you didn’t particularly like the book you can sell it on Amazon.com or eBay. Give it away at your next Open Mic or Songwriting Workshop. If you did like it - then add it to your own personal library. Do what you want with it. It’s yours.

Free publicity. As a Blogging Muses reviewer, we will give you your own author page where you can promote any project you wish. Your book review will have a link to your author page. Your author page will be available forever and you can even update it with new information whenever you wish.

Free expert-status. If you are a songwriter looking to network and build a reputation as an “expert” in the community, getting published on well-known songwriting sites is a great way to add “expert”-credits to your name.

If it is something you would be interested in doing (Readers in the continental U.S. only.), please let us know at Blogging Muses. Send your mailing address, email, and phone number so we know who to send the books to.

Additionally, if there is a particular book you would like to review, please let us know and we’ll see if we can get it for you.
